SKINCARE TREATMENTS

Hydrafacial MD– HydraFacial is one of our favorite facial services as it cleans the skin, extracts the pores and hydrates the skin using patented technology in one simple procedure.   HydraFacial uses super serums which are made with nourishing ingredients that create an instantly gratifying glow in just 3 steps.  The procedure is fast and painless, and you will leave the Center for Aesthetic Medicine with radiant skin.

Step One of the Hydrafacial is to uncover a new layer of skin with a gentile exfoliation and resurfacing using our cleanse and peel technology.

Step Two of the Hydrafracial is to remove debris from pores using a painless suction.   Once that’s completed the Hydrafacial nourishes the skin with intense moisturizers.

Step Three of the Hydrafacial saturates the skin’s surface with peptides and antioxidants that fuse and protects the skin.

Microneedling- This procedure is generally used to treat wrinkles, large pores and scars on the face. Our experienced and licensed aesthetician will use a derma roller with small needles to prick the skin. The needles cause micro trauma to the skin which illicit a healing response that tells the body to generate new collagen in the procedural area which in turn makes skin smoother, firmer, and more toned.

Microdermabrasion- Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive procedure used to regenerate skin tone and texture with people who have the appearance of sun damage, age spots, acne scaring, wrinkles, fine-lines, melanoma and other skin related conditions.   Our experienced and licensed aesthetician will use a special applicator with an abrasive surface to gently sand away the thick outer layer of the skin to rejuvenate it.

Dermaplaning- Dermaplaning is a procedure that shaves the peach fuzz off of women’s faces.   No we don’t use shaving cream and a man’s razor!  Our experienced and licensed aesthetician will use a medical-grade scalpel to gently scrape the surface of the skin removing the fine vellus hairs as well as a superficial layer of dead skin.  This has a brightening effect on the skin and will help your make up to go on smoother.    Dermaplaning is a complementary procedure to do before microdermabrasion or lasers.   The entire treatment takes around 15 minutes.   In order to keep the peach fuzz away, you have to come in about once a month to get a treatment.

Vampire Facial™ (with PRP)- Most of us have seen closeup images of Kim Kardashian West’s bloody face taken after she had the famous Vampire Facial procedure.   The Vampire Facial is a combination of the microdermabrasion procedure followed by a mask of one’s own platelet-rich plasma smeared over their face. Center for Aesthetic Medicine is licensed, trained and approved to provide the Vampire Facial™ procedure.  During the procedure one of our licensed medical providers will draw the patient’s blood, and will spin it using our advanced centrifuge.  This process spins the blood very rapidly extracting the platelet-rich plasma (PRP).  That plasma is generally yellowish in color and is then applied topically by one of our licensed aestheticians.  What does the Vampire Facial do to the skin?   The micro-trauma created by the microdermabrasion signals for a healing response, and with the addition of the platelet rich plasma, the PRP puts the body’s response into overdrive thus improving skin tone, texture, smoothing wrinkles and fine lines.
