Chemical peels involve applying a chemical solution to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. It is used to improve the appearance of mild skin discoloration, rough skin, uneven skin tone and texture, as well as improving fine lines and wrinkles. Chemical peels are recommended for all skin types.
What Can I Expect?
Most patients will notice a change in skin appearance and texture right away, but some chemical peels are recommended in a series to get the maximum result. Improvement continues over the course of the treatments, revealing fresher, younger skin.

- Acne Peel- This chemical peel treatment is perfect for clogged pores, oily congested skin, acne, blackheads. It also helps to reduce the incidence of breakouts. Salicylic acid is a type of beta hydroxy (BHA) peel, and a very common ingredient in acne treatments.
- Jessner Peel- This chemical peel has been around hundreds of years. This popular peel can. be customized from superficial to medium depth. The Jessner peel contains 14% lactic acid, 14% salicylic acid, and 14% resorcinol. This peel is designed to remove superficial layers of the skin, dry out acne, reduce fine lines and wrinkling, and lightens hyperpigmentation.
