Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair Removal removes unwanted hair without the pain of tweezing, waxing or shaving. The results are better and lasting. It works through a highly concentrated laser beam that is focused on the pigmentation of the hair follicles. The pigment follicles absorb the light and destroy the hair. The laser selectively targets dark course hairs, while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged.
The hair removal is fast, allowing the esthetician to treat the size of a quarter with each pass so small areas like the upper lip can be treated in less than one minute. Larger areas, such as the back off the legs, may take up to an hour. Most patients can see permanent or nearly permanent hair loss after an average of three to seven sessions.
If you are planning for laser hair removal please limit plucking, waxing and electrolysis for six weeks before treatment. Also avoid sun exposure for six weeks before and after treatment, as sun exposure can make complications after treatment more likely.

Laser hair removal is not effective with white or grey hair.
