Masseter Botox
Botox is a neurotoxin that temporarily paralyzes the muscle. When Botox is injected in the Masseter muscle- the muscle that’s near the cheek bones- the result can change the shape of one’s face which is known as non-surgical jaw reduction. Non-surgical jaw reduction helps to square the jaw and in effect can balance the face. In addition, Botox® injected isn the Masseter muscle can be very effective at reducing pain in that region. Jawpain usually arises from chewing, teeth grinding, misalignment, and tension.
The Botox® injections in the masseter muscle is quick, simple and very effective procedure!
